Almost everyone, at one time or another, has heard of gerbils or jirds. Gerbils are
very friendly, social, intelligent, funny, lively, and curious animals. They
rarely bite and aren't easily frightened. These characteristics and also the
fact that Mongolian gerbils are active by day, make these rodents great pets.
I love gerbils already for many years and noticed that people didn't know much about gerbils. And pet shops still give buyers of gerbils none or wrong information. That's why I have made this website, to give you the basic information you'll need when you have Mongolian gerbils or want to keep them. Besides that you'll find also some other interesting information on the fat-tailed gerbil. I hope you will enjoy this website.
There can be mistakes in my spelling and grammar on some pages. This is because I'm Dutch and live in the Netherlands. I would be very happy if you could contact me to report any grammatical errors.
